Year 6 - St Patrick’s Class

I’m sure it won’t surprise you to know that Year 6 will be spending the few weeks until May 10th on SATs revision!

After that we will be devoting much more time to curriculum areas other than Maths and Literacy (whilst obviously still working hard in both these areas).

Our focus will then be on encouraging independent learning and developing the skills necessary for a smooth transition to Secondary School.

In order to help your child at home and if you have access to a computer (if not, the library will be useful) I would recommend the following websites:

This last site has some excellent Maths and English quizzes and puzzles.

If your child worked on these for 30 minutes each evening - alongside the homework sent from School, it would be of real benefit to him/her.
