The school does not charge for activities that are part of the National Curriculum which must be provided free of charge.  However, to make the curriculum more meaningful for children, visits are made to places of interest and musicians, theatre groups and speakers are invited into school.

These opportunities have to be paid from the school’s own funds and parents will be asked for voluntary contributions to cover the costs.  No child will be excluded from taking part if their parents decline to volunteer payment, but failure to cover the costs could mean the trip/special event is cancelled.  Further information on the policy is available from the school office.
