Special Educational Needs
We aim to identify children with Special Educational Needs as early as possible and work closely with parents to raise their level of achievement.
We regularly review the child’s progress and discuss it with the child’s parents. Full parental co-operation is essential in order to meet the child’s needs effectively. Any parent who is concerned about the development or progress of a child should inform the school as soon as possible.
Problems at home may also affect a child, so it is important to let the school know if there are any serious difficulties. All issues are dealt with in a sensitive way and a private interview with the Class Teacher or Headteacher can always be arranged.
