Letter to Parents - update on 19th June 2020
As we complete our third week with children returning to those designated classes, it is wonderful to hear the sound of children again around school.
The numbers have remained constant, but we have had a few additions as the weeks have progressed.
The numbers from this week have been:
- Year 6: 5
- Year 1 St John Bosco: 11
- Year 1 St David’s: 11
- EYFS St Francis: 11
- EYFS St Bernadette: 15
- Key Worker Children: 12
- SEN children: 2
Like many schools around the country, we are all waiting to hear what the Government’s plans are for schools from September. Once we hear what the requirements will be, we will be in touch.
I end this letter with the sad news that Mrs Sully will be leaving us on Friday 26th June after 23 years of service to the school.
Anna has been a wonderful colleague and friend over the years and I know that I will not be alone in missing her around school over the months to come. We all wish her well in her new ventures.
From June 29th we welcome Deborah Turner as the new Business Manager to the school. I know you will all make her feel very welcome when the day comes when we are all back in school.
