Child Led Liturgy
October 2025
Child Led Liturgy at lunchtime
We gathered today for our first Mini Vinnie Child-Led Liturgy session of the year! Together, we listened to the Gospel of St Luke 16:1–13, which reminds us that we cannot serve both God and money. The children reflected beautifully on the message and shared thoughtful ideas about how we can use what we have to help others—through kindness, generosity, and small everyday actions.
As a school, we continue to nurture a spirit of welcome and inclusion. Our Mini Vinnie group has an open door—everyone is welcome, and we encourage any child who would like to get involved in future sessions to join us.
We’re proud of the children for leading with such maturity and compassion.

CST: Dignity, Solidarity, the Option for the Poor
This week in our Mini Vinnie Child-Led Liturgy, we explored the story of poor Lazarus and the rich man from the Gospel of St Luke. We reflected on how the rich man walked past Lazarus, who was suffering right at his gate, and did nothing to help.
The children shared thoughtful reflections on the importance of treating others with love, kindness, and compassion—just as Jesus teaches us. We talked about ways we can be more Christ-like in our actions, especially when we see someone in need.
Together, we wrote prayers asking God to help us be generous, caring, and fair in our daily lives. To end our Bible study, Testimony shared a beautiful prayer she had written herself, which truly captured the spirit of the session.
We’re so proud of the children for engaging so deeply with the Gospel and for supporting each other in living out their faith.

January 2025
Child Led Liturgy
Our Year 4 classes have led beautiful liturgies for different classes around the school. They prepared everything with care, including meaningful readings, thought-provoking questions, and reflective music to guide the prayer time. It was a special moment of faith and community, as Year 4 shared their gifts to inspire and connect with their younger peers.
