Teaching Assistant and Midday Meals Supervisor - Full Time

Required for January 2026

Our Lady of Grace is a friendly, successful primary school which needs a committed Teaching Assistant to join our excellent team.  In the first instance, this will be to work alongside individual children and groups in class and also in managing small groups of pupils for specific interventions as required.  You may also be required to support children with Special Needs on a 1:1 basis.

Our successful candidate should be confident in working with children across the age range (5-11) and it may suit someone thinking of teaching as a career.

You should have experience of working with teachers in creating and delivering specific educational programmes, adapting these to individual needs.  You must be able to work on your own initiative, but need to be a good team player too!

We are looking for an applicant with experience of comparable work in a similar setting and hold a childcare qualification.  You should hold a First Aid qualification or be willing to train for one.

References will be required and as part of safeguarding the welfare of all our children, a DBS clearance will be undertaken.

Music Teacher

Required for February 2026 - One day a week

The Governors of this Outstanding and over-subscribed school are seeking to appoint a part-time committed music teacher with high expectations to join our happy, busy and thriving school. We are looking for a part-time music teacher who is able to motivate pupils to make good progress to start in September 2025. Playworker - Wrappers Club

We have ongoing vacancies for our afternoon Wrappers Club from 3.15pm - 6pm.  

  • Are you organised and enthusiastic?
  • Can you support, planned activities with structure and enthusiasm?  This includes a wide range from multi-sports, games, arts and crafts, downtime and structured play.
  • Are you proactive, responsible and able to follow procedures? The children in our care are our responsibility and policies are in place for the team members to follow.
