Posted on: 2/07/2024Summer Fayre - 28th June 24
The summer fayre 2024 was an incredible success.
It has always been known as the “International day “in the history of OLOG and that was truly
reflected in the international food stall where local cuisine from different cultures were brought in by the
parents, showcasing the diversity and inclusion at our school.
The weather could not have been any better, the sun was shining and the attendance just brilliant.
Queues at the entrance slowly disappeared as the children and adults immersed themselves into the fun
of many stalls organised by the PTFA.
Highlights were the wet sponge stall where children could throw a wet sponge at Mr Small - and Alex. Other successful stalls being
Shoot the Ball,
What’s in the Box
Hook the Duck,
Didi cars,
Arts and Crafts,
uniform and preloved toys sale amongst many others.
A DJ played the latest hits, and the guitar performance was incredible. At 3.00pm the Irish dancers hit
the dance floor followed by many talents at our school participating at the OLOG Talent show.
Parents and children were dancing to incredible music in the later hours of the day.
The BBQ was lit and that was when the party started. An incredible day for parents, friends, teachers
and especially children. Thank you to all volunteers, PTFA committee members and school for making
this such a success.
