This links to our Catholic Social Teaching principle of Human Dignity — remembering that every person is made in the image and likeness of God and deserves love, dignity and respect.

MacMillan Coffee Morning

Our Lady of Grace organised a coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support on Friday 24th September. Pupils across the school generously brought in cakes to donate, and our Year 6 pupils took on the responsibility of hosting the coffee morning for parents, serving tea, coffee, cake and other tasty treats. The remaining cakes were then sold after school, giving even more members of our school community the opportunity to contribute. We are incredibly proud to have raised just over £1,000. This was a wonderful example of our school community coming together to support others, showing kindness, generosity and a genuine concern for those in need.

Experts at Hand - SEN

You may be aware that our School is part of an exciting new programme called Experts at Hand (EAR), which is being piloted in Greenwich as part of the national Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) reform programme. Experts at Hand gives schools access to a dedicated teamof specialist professionals - including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists,educational psychologists, autism outreach specialists, and more - who work alongside school staff to help all children and young people, including those with additional needs, thrive in their mainstream setting.
