Posted on: 5/11/2026Winnners of the EFL Boys Football Tournament8 boys from years 3 and 4 represented Our Lady of Grace Primary School with distinction at the Charlton Winter Tournament on Thursday 5th November. The boys were in a tough group with 4 other schools and flew through their group to qualify for the Semi Final. In an extremely tight affair against Burnt Oak the boys came out with a hard fought 1-0 win. The final vs St Mary’s was another extremely tight game. Despite going 1-0 down, the boys pressed the button for the entire game and finally got the goal they deserved to draw the game 1-1 and take it to penalties. In the penalty shoot-out both teams scored 7 in an exhibition of penalty taking before Silva hit the winning penalty. A fantastic achievement for the boys playing together for the first time. The team was Archie, Michael, Theo, Silva, Zain, Isaac, Jacob and Nael.
