Posted on: 1/06/2026Hot WeatherWelcome back for summer term 2. Now that the weather has changed and the sun has finally come out, please remember to apply sunscreen to your children before school. Children cannot bring sunscreen into school and staff are not permitted to apply this. Equally children must not bring in any electonic or battery operated fan devices. Children must wear their full school uniform to school and will have the option of putting their cardigans and jumpers in their book bags depending on the weather. Sun hats are now available to buy via ParentPay at £7.99 and you can collect it from the school office once payment has been made.

We have a number of school trips planned over the coming weeks and may have to reschedule this due to any changes in the weather. Please make sure your details are up to date so that we can communicate with you effectively.
Posted on: 1/06/2026Yr 2 Geography TripYear 2 had a local geography local field trip on Friday 8th May which focused on helping children observe, describe, and make sense of their immediate environment through simple fieldwork skills. They visited Our Lady of Grace Church and the old school premises on Charlton Road as well as Highcombe House (the old presbytery) which has tremendous historical significance in the area.
Posted on: 1/06/2026Drama WorkshopYear 2 enjoyed a fantastic drama workshop on 5th May. The session was lively, educational, and full of imagination, giving every child the chance to express themselves and build confidence. It was a joyful experience from start to finish, with fun had by all.
