Posted on: 28/09/2026MacMillan Coffee MorningOur Lady of Grace organised a coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Pupils across the school generously brought in cakes to donate, and our Year 6 pupils took on the responsibility of hosting the coffee morning for parents, serving tea, coffee, cake and other tasty treats. The remaining cakes were then sold after school, giving even more members of our school community the opportunity to contribute. We are incredibly proud to have raised £1,051. This was a wonderful example of our school community coming together to support others and to uphold the dignity of every person, particularly those facing the challenges of cancer. Through their generosity, kindness and willingness to serve others, our pupils demonstrated that every individual is valued, cared for and deserving of compassion and support. This special event reflected our commitment to human dignity and showed how small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. We are extremely proud of the compassion, generosity and sense of responsibility shown by our whole school community.
Posted on: 28/09/2026Experts at Hand - SENYou may be aware that our School is part of an exciting new programme called Experts at Hand (EAR), which is being piloted in Greenwich as part of the national Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) reform programme. Experts at Hand gives schools access to a dedicated teamof specialist professionals - including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists,educational psychologists, autism outreach specialists, and more - who work alongside school staff to help all children and young people, including those with additional needs, thrive in their mainstream setting. Posted on: 28/09/2026Mini Vinnies New Year Mass - St George's Cathedral - September 26Our Mini Vinnies were delighted to join Mr Small and Mrs Storrier at the beginning of the new school year for a special New Year Mass at St George’s Cathedral, led by Archbishop John Wilson. It was a wonderful opportunity for our Mini Vinnies to come together with other schools and members of our Catholic community to celebrate the start of a new academic year in faith, prayer and service.

Posted on: 22/09/2026MacMillan Coffee MorningThis week, our school community is coming together to raise as much as we can for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that does so much to support people living with cancer and their families. We are looking forward to welcoming families and friends to our Coffee Morning on Friday 25th September. Research is so important in helping us to understand cancer better, develop new treatments, improve outcomes and, ultimately, give more people the hope of a longer and healthier life. Alongside this, the support provided to individuals and families facing cancer can be a source of great comfort when it is needed most. As a Catholic school community, we are called to show compassion, kindness and solidarity with those who are experiencing difficult times. Through our fundraising, we hope to put our faith into action and remind those affected by cancer that they are not alone. Every donation, however large or small, will help to support this very important cause. Thank you for your generosity, prayers and continued support of our school community.

We are very proud of: St Peter – Lambros St Martin – Mateo St Martin de Porres – Ria St Francis of Assisi – Eli St Elizabeth – Jessica St Patrick – Matilde St Oscar Romero – Tianne St Teresa - Great Our Mini Vinnies will have an important role within our school community. They will help to promote kindness, compassion and service to others, inspired by the example of St Vincent de Paul. They will work together to identify ways we can support people in our school and wider community, organise fundraising and charitable activities, and encourage others to think about those who may need our help. As Mini Vinnies, they will be ambassadors for our school and role models for others, showing care, respect and generosity in all that they do. We look forward to seeing them make a positive difference throughout the year!
