Autumn Boys Shield Football Tournament
On 23rd october 2025, the boys football team played in their first tournament of the year on Thursday at Charlton's training ground.
They played 9 games, winning 4, drawing 3 and losing 2.
Their performance was excellent considering it was the first time they had played together and grew visibly in confidence as the day went on, despite losing one of the squad to illness.
They should be very proud of their efforts.
Autumn Girls Shield Football Tournament
On Thursday 16th October, 8 girls from years 5 and 6 took part in the Autumn Girls Shield Football Tournament held at Charlton Athletic Training Ground. They were narrowly beaten to a semi-final place by the eventual finalists. We are immensely proud of their efforts and they displayed tremendous teamwork as this was their first competitive match.
We wish the boys team every success as they will be competing in the Autumn Boys Shield Football Tournament on 23rd October. This team will comprise 8 boys from years 5 and 6.
