Knitting Club

Our children are absolutely loving Knitting Club! Each week, they come together with enthusiasm, creativity, and growing confidence as they learn new skills and work on their individual projects. It's been wonderful to see their excitement as they master different techniques, help one another, and take pride in what they're creating—whether it’s a simple square or a full scarf.

Knitting Club has become a warm, welcoming space where friendships grow, patience is practised, and imaginations thrive. Thank you for supporting their participation in this rewarding and relaxing activity!

London Marathon 26th April 2026

Good luck to all those who are running in the London Marathon on Sunday 26th April and especially: Anne Lomas, mum to Wilhelmina and Thea Guidi She will be running the London Marathon for Evelina Children's Hospital (they saved Thea's life when she was 5 months old).  She has made her fundraising goal - but would love friendly faces along the route. The girls are super excited to share the news with their friends at Our Lady of Grace. They have been helping with spectator planning, recovery, morale boosting and even training with Anne. Alfie Penfold, son of Nicola Penfold (TA at Our Lady of Grace) Alfie will be running in support of the Bromley Children and Families Voluntary Sector Forum (BCFF), an organisation that does amazing work helping children, young people and families across the community. Alfie's younger brother has autism and growing up alongside him has taught him just how vital understanding, support and inclusion are, not only for individuals with additional needs but for their families too. Running 26.2 miles will be tough for Alfie but it's nothing compared to the challenges many families face every single day. Ted Hutchins', (pupil) Auntie Julie Ted and his family will be cheering on his Auntie Julie as she runs the 26.2 mile course across London.   Huge congratulations to everyone taking part in the London Marathon on Sunday 26th April. Whether you’re chasing a personal best, running for a cause close to your heart, or simply taking on the challenge, your dedication and spirit are incredible. London will be cheering you on every step of the way.

Year One Visit to Battersea Zoo

Year One visiting Battersea Zoo! Last Thursday, our Year One pupils had their first trip this year to the Battersea Zoo. They learnt lots of fun facts about animals like meerkats, otters, emus and chameleons. The pupils loved seeing the animals up close and asked lots of great questions. It was a fun day and a great way to consolidate our understanding of the Science topic ‘Animals’! The pupils attended a workshop where they had the opportunity talk about animals’ diets and to investigate animal bones to determine if they are carnivores,herbivore or omnivores. Before leaving the zoo, they had fun in the playground.
