Thank you for Supporting our MacMillan Coffee Morning

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you who joined us for our recent coffee morning and supported our cake sale in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. £208.30 was raised.


Thank you for your generosity—whether through donations, baked goods, or simply sharing your time—made a real difference. Together, we raised vital funds and awareness for a cause that touches so many lives.


Events like these remind us of the strength and kindness within our school community.
Thank you once again for your support. We look forward to many more moments of community and compassion in the future.

Save Our Historic Church and Keep our 120yr old Parish Open

Thank you to everyone who signed the original petition to save Our Lady of Grace church back in May 2025. The Augustinians of the Assumption have issued notice to the Archdiocese to vacate the church building by 30th June 2026. The trust  has presented a fully costed plan to accept the gift of the church building from the Assumptionists, preserving our parish at zero cost to either the Archdiocese or the Assumptionist owners. New Petition: Following the notice to vacate, they have launched an updated petition reflecting the critical urgency of the situation and their support for both parish preservation and the Assumptionist mission in the South. We are asking for your help again and ask that you sign the petition by clicking the link. Save our Parish A meeting was held at the church on Monday 22nd September in the church hall where the Trustees of Our Lady of Grace Buildings Preservation Trust updated parishioners about the future of Our Lady of Grace church and discussed its historical significance to the area which is fascinating! Who knew?! On the petition site, you will find more historical information and youtube videos which will explain more. There will lots of fundraising activities happening in the church and this will be available in their newsletter and on the webiste such as concerts in the church, Christmas bazaar and other fundraising events. It is crucial that everyone gets behind this project to enable the church to remain open for generations to come.
