We will be hosting a reading workshop for parents across the school. This session will strengthen the partnership between home and school by providing valuable insights into our reading practices and how you can best support your child’s reading development.

The workshop will cover: -

• The importance of developing confident readers:
• Expectations for reading assessments, including the Year 1 Phonics Check and The Year 2 and Year 6 SATs -
• Practical strategies to help build your child’s fluency and comprehension skills at home -
• A reading group demonstration from our staff and pupils.
