Science Workshop - KS2
David Hall visited our school today to deliver an engaging science workshop focused on electricity and the work of Michael Faraday. The session supported the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum for Science, particularly pupils' understanding of how electrical circuits work, the role of components, and how scientific discoveries have shaped our world.
Children explored key concepts such as simple circuits, conductors and insulators, while also learning about Faraday's important contributions to the study of electricity and magnetism. The workshop encouraged curiosity, enquiry skills and scientific thinking through hands-on activities and discussion.
