Posted on: 8/10/2025Year 5 Trip to Charlton HouseYear 5 had a fantastic day at Charlton House, stepping back in time to experience life in the past. The children dressed up in historical costumes and took part in a range of exciting activities, including traditional games, dancing, and exploring the customs of the era. Through hands-on experiences and fun workshops, they brought their learning in history to life and deepened their understanding of how people lived long ago. It was a wonderful day filled with laughter, learning, and plenty of memorable moments.
Posted on: 7/10/2025Young Citizen of the Year AwardOn Friday evening, I was honoured to attend the Young Citizen of the Year Awards on behalf of OLOG, to support our past Year 6 pupil, Zaki. We are incredibly proud that he was awarded Runner Up in the Bravery category, a wonderful recognition of his courage and resilience. Everyone at OLOG is so proud of the progress Zaki has made both academically and personally, and it was a joy to celebrate this achievement with him.

Each week, they come together with enthusiasm, creativity, and growing confidence as they learn new skills and work on their individual projects. It's been wonderful to see their excitement as they master different techniques, help one another, and take pride in what they're creating—whether it’s a simple square or a full scarf. Knitting Club has become a warm, welcoming space where friendships grow, patience is practised, and imaginations thrive. Thank you for supporting their participation in this rewarding and relaxing activity!

Thank you for your generosity—whether through donations, baked goods, or simply sharing your time—made a real difference. Together, we raised vital funds and awareness for a cause that touches so many lives. Events like these remind us of the strength and kindness within our school community. Thank you once again for your support. We look forward to many more moments of community and compassion in the future.

Equally, there will be a questionnaire for those children who access our extended day provision, Wrappers Club.
Posted on: 23/09/2025New Term RemindersNow that we have all settled into the new term, we would like to remind you of a few important expectations: Punctuality The Senior Leadership Team will be looking at those children who are persistently late to school in the mornings as we have noticed an increase in late arrivals recently. Please ensure your child arrives at school on time each morning. Being punctual helps your child start the day calmly and helps to minimise disruption in the classroom. As a reminder, children should be in their classrooms at 8.55am and should not be arriving after that time as this will be considered late. If your child is late, an adult must accompany the child to sign them in at the school office. School Uniform Please make sure that all jumpers and cardigans are properly labelled and the correct uniform must be worn each day. PE Kits Please make sure that your child comes to school in their PE kit on their designated day. With the weather changing , winter PE kits can now be worn.
