Dear Parent / Carers, 

You will have heard that the largest teaching union, the National Education Union, has balloted its members who have voted to strike. Over 90% of teachers in this union voted for strike action.

The Chair of Governors, Mrs Penston has been contacted by the NEU to inform the governing body that OLOG has 11 NEU members who have been called upon to strike on the 15^th & 16^th March.

As a Governing Body, we recognise the hard work and dedication of teachers and the important role they play in nurturing and shaping the young lives of our children. We also recognise the challenges of our profession, especially so in Inner London, and difficulties teachers face on a daily basis.

At Our Lady of Grace Primary School, we value our staff and know that they are highly committed and dedicated to the pupils they serve.  

With possibility of 11/14 of classes being affected, the Governing Body has decided to close the school on the 15^th & 16^th March.
