Yr 2 Charlton House Visit
As part of the Year 2s Humanities topic 'The Local Area', the children visited Charlton House today to learn more about the History and Geography of our local area. Year 2 enjoyed a wonderful trip to Charlton House, where we stepped back in time to the 17th century during the reign of King James I. Dressed as servants from the era, we explored the grand rooms of the house on a fascinating tour, imagining what life was like all those years ago. We had great fun making our own crowns and tiaras, just like those worn at court, and even learned a graceful dance that maids would have performed. It was a magical day full of laughter, learning, and living history!;
