Year 5 Trip to Charlton House

Year 5 had a fantastic day at Charlton House, stepping back in time to experience life in the past. The children dressed up in historical costumes and took part in a range of exciting activities, including traditional games, dancing, and exploring the customs of the era. Through hands-on experiences and fun workshops, they brought their learning in history to life and deepened their understanding of how people lived long ago. It was a wonderful day filled with laughter, learning, and plenty of memorable moments.

Young Citizen of the Year Award

On Friday evening, I was honoured to attend the Young Citizen of the Year Awards on behalf of OLOG, to support our past Year 6 pupil, Zaki. We are incredibly proud that he was awarded Runner Up in the Bravery category, a wonderful recognition of his courage and resilience. Everyone at OLOG is so proud of the progress Zaki has made both academically and personally, and it was a joy to celebrate this achievement with him.
