Online Safety and Mobile Phone Usage

As part of our School Improvement Plan (SIP) priorities for 2025/26, our safeguarding focus is the online safety of our children and their use of mobile phones. We would like to invite you to an important information session on online and mobile phone usage for children, taking place on Monday 2nd March at 1.30pm.

The session will be delivered by Jonathan Taylor, a highly regarded online safety and social media consultant. Jonathan is widely recognised for his expertise in helping schools, parents and young people navigate the fast‑changing digital world.

With the growing influence of social media and online communication in young people’s lives, this session is especially relevant. We strongly encourage you to attend, as it will provide valuable insights into how we can work together to support safe, responsible, and healthy online behaviour.

Safer Internet Day - 10th February 2026

Safer Internet Day 2026 - 10th February 2026 The children took part in a whole-school assembly focused on staying safe online. During the assembly, we talked about the importance of keeping personal information private and why details such as passwords, addresses and school information should never be shared online. We also explored the idea of a digital footprint, helping the children understand that what we post, share or comment on can stay online and become part of our online story. Following the assembly, the children continued the conversation in their classes, where they were able to ask questions and discuss different scenarios in more detail. We talked about how to recognise when something online doesn’t feel right and what to do if they ever feel worried or uncomfortable. The clear message was: stop, don’t respond, and tell a trusted adult straight away. We encourage you to continue these conversations at home, as regular reminders help children feel confident, informed and safe when using the internet.   Please click onto the link below for the presentation. Vote for Our Lady of Grace Church

Vote for Our Lady of Grace Church project: Building Stronger Communities As you know parishioners and Our Lady of Grace school are working hard to raise funds to secure the parish's future. As part of this we have applied for funding to the Greenwich Neighbourhood Fund for a grant to renovate the crypt of the church to create a much-needed community space. The next stage of the application process is a public vote. We would be very grateful if you could vote for our project and share with friends and family. Every vote makes a difference!
